Formerly the host of NBC'S® regional syndicated show DATE NIGHT TV® he's seen by millions on The Showtime Comedy Club Network®, YouTube® and is also consistently one of Campus Magazine's® top picks for "CAMPUS HOT COMEDY".
With his signature voice, spirited guitar rifts and unbridled sense of humor, MARK EDDIE blends rock-n-roll music & stand-up comedy. He's become one of today's most sought after entertainers performing 300+ shows a year at clubs, colleges and major corporate events in the U.S. (and abroad) for company's such as Verizon®, Service Master®, Genband®, Bayer®, Coldwell Banker®, Culver's®, Ashland Oil®, Valvoline®, Vans® and Best Buy® among others. In addition to performing on stage, MARK EDDIE is also a busy writer/producer/voice-actor for television and film projects often lending his voice and musicianship to countless network promos, jingles & commercials each year for ABC®, Nickelodeon®, HBO®, Showtime®, PBS®, TNT® and more.
A touring musician with rock bands in the 90's MARK EDDIE was singled out in BILLBOARD MAGAZINE® on two occasions for his raw vocal style and became the "opening act" for Jackson Browne, Melissa Etheridge and Toad the Wet Sprocket. The ever witty and engaging MARK EDDIE embarked on a solo coffeehouse tour in 2001 and soon brought his hysterically-upbeat, musician's point-of-view to comedy stages. Since then, he's released 3 comedy cd's and headlines legendary comedy venues such as THE IMPROV, THE LAUGH FACTORY and THE COMEDY & MAGIC CLUB where he is known for rapid-fire rock references and show-stopping tributes to Dave Matthews, Al Green, Neil Diamond, Van Morrison, Pearl Jam, John Mayer and Hip Hop Star "Shaggy".
MARK EDDIE also performs dozens of charity events and fundraisers each year for The American Diabetes Association, (ADA), Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and The American Cancer Society (ACS). Long range plans for this jovial artist include writing, voice acting, theater, animated film projects, film shorts and ultimately developing his very own television series for VH-1 called, "The Bright Side of Mark"®.
