EVAN BROWN
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Evan has had the bug for performance from a very young age. As the son of a professional musician/singer-songwriter, John F. Brown, Evan has music in the blood and song in his heart. He started playing professionally at the age of twelve and has been playing professionally ever since. Evan studied classical guitar and theater at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and draws a lot of his inspiration from the Central Coast and the South Bay of Los Angeles, where he grew up. He has also been recognized for his compositions by ASCAP, and has had multiple songs used for and performed as part of an original musical called "Strand: A Beach Musical".
Evan's new EP, “220 Lincoln” features some fantastic musicians including: bassist John Avila of Oingo Boingo, Mutator and Avila, guitarist Billy Watts of The Mojo Monkeys and Eric Burdon and the Animals, drummer Dave Raven of The Mojo Monkeys and Mutator, Rick Geragi of Kid Brother, John Thomas of The Color Green and Max Mendoza of Sogo Takeover.
